Who are founding members? |

The first four hundred (400) members who paid the Joiners Fee prior to 5/15/02, shall be considered Founding Members. Founding Members may, within the first ten (10) years of Pool opening (ending 2013), sell their membership, through the Pool Executive Committee, to the next family/person on the Executive Committee’s membership waiting list, provided that there is someone on the list who is willing to join. |

I am a founding member (those who joined the pool prior to it being built) and want to resign my membership – what do I do? |

A: |
The Founding Member’s written letter of resignation must be received by MARCH 1st of the year in which they are resigning and the founding member must be in good standing with the previous year’s membership paid in full. Letters of Resignation must be submitted in writing to GRCP, PO Box 8215, Glen Ridge, NJ 07028. The refund of the original Joiners Fee will be issued after August of the same year providing that a new member has joined and replaced the vacated membership spot. |

How much does it cost to join? |

The one time, non-refundable initiation fee is $1250.
Annual Dues
2. Full Family- Members of the family, permanently residing at the same address. Dependents to the age of 23 years may be included in this membership. (Babysitters and live-in helpers do not qualify as family members. See Nanny/Caregiver Category) Cost per season: $ 750.00
3. Couple- Two persons living together as one household. This does not include “room-mates” or shared living arrangement Cost per season: $500.00
4. Full Single- An individual who is at least 13 years of age on or before pool opening day. Cost per season: $350.00
5. Senior- An individual who is at least 60 years of age on or before pool opening day. Cost per season: 10% off applicable membership class rate (i.e. single, couple, family)
6. Nanny/Care-Givers/Baby Sitters- Must accompany child(ren) and be at least 16 years of age or older. Cost is in addition to family membership fee of caregiver’s employer. If a caregiver changes during the season, only the cost of a new I.D. will be required, not the seasonal fee. Cost per season $100.00 |

How & when do we receive the pool ID cards? |

Every member should have a laminated photo ID card with picture. These cards can be used year to year. Once dues are paid for the year, new stickers will be issued for each card, either at the pool or Annual Glen Ridge Arts Festival. Pictures for new ID cards will be taken at the Arts Festival and the pool as well. |

Can we bring guests and what are guest fees? |

You will be allowed to bring guests to the pool, in accordance with the rules & regulations of the pool. Members are required to remain with their guests and are responsible for their conduct while in the pool complex. Guest fees are $10 on weekdays and $21 on weekends. |

Are there coupon books available for the guest fees? |

Yes. The cost is $35 for a book of five coupons, which can be purchased at the pool. Weekday guest admission is one coupon. Weekend guest admission is three coupons. Coupon Books are sold at a discount through Memorial Day Weekend for $25 for a book. Discounted Books are available at the Glen Ridge Arts Festival and the pool Memorial Day Weekend. |

Can I leave my child there unattended? |

Children under 12 are not allowed to be left at the pool without adult supervision. They will be turned away at the gate. |

Will there be swim lessons? |

Group lessons will be offered at various times during the season. Individual one-one lessons can be arranged in the off-times of the lifeguards. |

Where should we park our cars? |

Cars can be parked in the lot attached to the pool. If the lot fills up please park your cars in the Hillside lot. Do not park in the Bottle King lot. Please consider car-pooling, walking or biking to the pool. There is a strict no parking rule for non-residents of Clark Street, on Clark Street. Please do not park there, a new ordinance was written and cars WILL be ticketed. |
